Mildred Van Beelan - Feenstra joins Box of Hope as Chief Operating Officer
Box of Hope is proud to announce the appointment of Mildred Van Beelen – Feenstra to the role of Chief Operation Officer, as of 1 Jan 2022.
Having volunteered and played a big role in running Box of Hope operations for many years, she was the ideal candidate for the role.
Sian Taylor, Box of Hope CEO said, “we had got to the stage where we really needed someone to formally manage our operations and prepare us, administratively, for our annual box drive campaign. Mildred has been a volunteer with us for many years, organising our logistics, finance and general operations at large, so really was the perfect candidate! On behalf of our Board, we wish her all the very best”.
About Box of Hope
Box of Hope began in 2008 when two Mothers, Nicole Woodhouse and Harriet Cleverly, had the desire to teach their children about the concept of child poverty.
What began as a family project has grown into a huge initiative where we collected over 33,000 boxes in 2022.
